A reissue of the the infamous Yellow Matter Custard by an unknown producer using plates derived from the TMQ release along with a renumbered slick.

The labels are recycled, mainly sourced from 'Audio House' and other 'Educational' labels, whilst there are several variations they are rarely unique to this specific release.

Original Comments

The famous Yellow Matter Custard from TMQ, the start of a collection of home recordings of BBC recordings, which was to be copied and reissued by numerous labels for more than a decade. With the simple stamped cover dayglo or foil sticker guarantee quality and nth all important coloured vinyl, it's not surprising that despite the glut of releases these originals remain popular with collectors.

However TMQ collectors will know that the matrix number is usually a description of content, so BO - Beatles Outakes , BHB - Beatles Hollywood Bowl. So why BBL, in 2021 the coffee table book , A Pig's Tale, told us that the original title was going to be Bound By Love, one can't help wonder how well that awkward title would have been remembered.

I need to do some more research on the yellow, copyright label variation in stamped sleeves, having come a cross a couple of copies in unstamped sleeves with Ken's 1858 matrices.
