In 1986 two new stampers were created from the Original TMQ Mother plates and over the next couple of years, several represses occurred on a variety of labels including copies of the original TMQ ''farm pig' label and finally in 1988
Hawk Records in 1988.

The reissues were released in a variety of covers including several slick variants and more interestingly for collectors two printed sleeves. The more common new 'glossy' black and white picture sleeve and a generic sleeve with the TMQ logo covering the rear to which a slick and oversized TMQ stickers were applied.

These reissues seem to be limited to hundreds rather than thousands per variant, as sample sizes are limited I'll add/update listings as I locate additional information.

The famous Yellow Matter Custard from TMQ, the start of a collection of home recordings of BBC recordings, which was to be copied and reissued by numerous labels for more than a decade. With the simple stamped cover dayglo or foil sticker guarantee quality and nth all important coloured vinyl, it's not surprising that despite the glut of releases these originals remain popular with collectors.

However TMQ collectors will know that the matrix number is usually a description of content, so BO - Beatles Outakes , BHB - Beatles Hollywood Bowl. So why BBL, in 2021 the coffee table book , A Pig's Tale, told us that the original title was going to be Bound By Love, one can't help wonder how well that awkward title would have been remembered.

As with several TMQ titles, there are some unstable colours that are prone to darkening.

I need to do some more research on the yellow, copyright label variation in stamped sleeves, having come a cross a couple of copies in unstamped sleeves with Ken's 1858 matrices.
