There have been three acetates sold by major auction houses of the re-recorded Some Other Guy at the Cavern in September 1962 with each having different pre/post song material; which have been edited together by some sources.

In 2012 an individual appeared offering a tape purporting to be an audience recording of Walthomstow. Two samples were provide including Some Other Guy and Please Please Me. Some believe these to be a outfake. Whilst originally only circulating online it soon made it to disc.
